Additional: Carabell M. Bowers, 77, of 63 Circle Dr., New Bremen, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at 6:30 p.m. at the Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys. She was born January 26, 1917, in New Bremen, the daughter of Raymond and Laura (Eversman) Kuhlhorst. On August 19, 1939, she married Forrest G. Bowers, who survives in New Bremen. Mrs. Bowers is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. James (Judy) Waesch of St. Marys; four granddaughters; one great grandson; and one brother, Ralph Kuhlhorst of St. Marys. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Kuhlhorst. Mrs. Bowers was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in New Bremen. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen, with Rev. Brady Seeley officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Memorial Fund.
