Additional: Died at home on Sabbath morning at half past ten o'clock, January 18th, 1874, Wm. Breckon, age 65 years. Mr. Breckon was born in Yorkshire, England in 1809 and came to America in 1830. He was educated in the religious tenets of the Friends. He was married to his now bereaved wife in 1833, after which he joined the M.E. Church. He resided in Rochester, New York, and Ft. Wayne until 1838 when he came to St. Marys. He was a man not to be soon forgotten. He was honest, independent, kindly and benevolent. As will always follow, as a reward for such qualities he had many warm and true friends. He was a sincere man, and amidst the infirmities common to us all he was a Christian man. He suffered much, and had his full share of cares and sorrow. It is a comfort to feel that they are now at an end. He died in living faith of that religion which he had so long professed.
