Additional: St. Marys—Carmen E. Diedrich, 64, of here, died at 2:01 p.m. Thursday in the emergency room of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was born April 1, 1925, in Auglaize County, the son of Edwin and Grace Baumgardner Diedrich. On August 29, 1945, he married Kathryn Crusie, who survives. Mr. Diedrich retired in 1982 as a pressroom supervisor at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767 and St. Marys American Legion Post 323. Survivors also include three sons, Michael W. Diedrich and Edwin R. Diedrich, both of St. Marys, and Terry L. Diedrich of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Hershel (Deborah) Wright of Jackson Center and Mrs. Lyle (Cindy) Keeling of Clearwater, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Detrick of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rev. Carl J. Mohr officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Long and Folk Funeral Home St. Marys Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
