Additional: Audrey B. Meyers, 87, of New Carlisle, died at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She was born June 30, 1913, in St. Marys to Edward and Maria (Holtkamp) Wierwille. She married Don W.W. Meyers, who died in 1978. Survivors include one son, Daniel (Nancy) Meyers of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Justine A. Meyers of New Carlisle and Zaneta (John) Davidson of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norbert (Nona) Wierwille of Andrews, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Ferry Franklin Meyers; one brother, Virgil Wierwille; and one sister, V. Eunice Johnson. Mrs. Meyers was a New Carlisle area resident since 1985 and a member of Crossroad Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Crossroad Baptist Church with the Rev. Carrol McDonald officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Trostel, Chapman and Christmas Funeral Home in New Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroad Baptist Church or to the Charity of the donor's choice.
