Additional: New Knoxville, May 9.—Charles A. Meckstroth, age 81, widely known dairy farmer oof this community, died at 9 o'clock this morning at his home south of New Knoxville after an extended illness with a complication of diseases. Mr. Meckstroth was the son of the late Herman William and Elizabeth Quiller Meckstroth and was born January 27, 1865, in New Knoxville. He had lived all of his life in the community. Sixty years ago last April 8, 1886, he married Anna Lammers who is left to mourn his death together with these children. J.A., Columbus; G.A., Orlando, Fla;, Rev. R.B., Huntington, Ind.; Dr. E.J., Sandusky, O.; Mrs. Caroline Holtkamp, Mrs. Matilda Fledderjohann, Mrs. Ferd Wellman and Mrs. A.F. Hoge, all of New Knoxville. Thre are 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Meckstroth was the last of his family. He was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church and was a former officer of the church. Funeral services are not arranged pending word from non-resident relatives.
