Additional: Verona M. Mosler, 86, 407 S. Perry St., Wapakonta died at her residence at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, following an extended illness. She was born May 14, 1914, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of John and Frances (Fischer) Bustetter. On April 29, 1937, she married John A. Mosler, who died March 15, 1986. Survivors include five daughters, Mary (James) Webb, Jeanie Klima, Rita (Clay) Wagner and Kathy (Jeff) Strete, all of Wapakoneta and Becky (Ed) Armer of Janesville, Wis.; a son, Thomas J. (Becky) Mosler of Wapakoneta; two brothers, Albert (Evie) Bustetter and Alfred (Loretta) Bustetter, both of Wapakoneta; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bustetter and a sister Lucille Koenig. A homemaker, Mrs. Mosler was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta and the former Catholic Ladies of St. Joseph. She also volunteered in sewing for festival materials, did volunteer work in the church rectry, was a member of the Legion of Mary and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and was active with the St. Joseph Prayer Line. She was a 1933 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Wapakoneta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta with the Rev. Peter Chiodo and the Rev. William O'Donnell officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, Wapakoneta Chapel, Wapakoneta. A christian prayer service will also be held Wednesday at 9 a.m.
