Additional: Edward Nedderman, 91, formerly of 418 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday July 29, at Auglaize Acres where he had been a resident for the past seven years. He was born September 19, 1893, northwest of New Bremen, the son of William and Wilhelmina Niemeyer Nedderman. On May 28, 1925, he married Ida Caroline Brueggeman, who died July 18, 1977. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul, who died July 30, 1950, four brothers, and two sisters. Mr. Nedderman was a farmer and later in life he and his wife moved to St. Marys. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War I in Europe, where he was wounded in action. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen, with Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call at the funeral home form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
