Additional: Marvin B. Schuller, 69, of 09290 Botkins Angle Road, New Knoxville, died suddenly at 9:04 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 1999, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Putnam County to Bernard C. and Ella (Drew) Schuller. On Dec. 20, 1950, he married Lois Meckstroth, who survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Denise (David) Wilson of New Knoxville; his father-in-law, Ferdinand Meckstroth of New Knoxville; four sisters, Delores Gilliand of St. Marys, Irene Thatcher of Mendon, Sharon Seibert of Spencerville and Deanna Carr of Bitely, Mich.; and two brothers, Merle Schuller of St. Marys and Anthony Schuller of Crowell, Ind. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael A. Schuller, who died May 29, 1962; one sister, Bernadine Jacobs; and two brothers, Wayne and Alvin. Mr. Schuller was the retired owner of Schuller Construction Co. He also served as sextant of Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of New Knoxville United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Eagle Lodge Aerie 767, St. Marys, a life member of American Legion Post 444; New Knoxville, and a member of the Moulton Gun Club. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
