Additional: New Knoxville—Raymond W. Wierwille, 87, of here, died at 10:20 a.m. Friday at the Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys. Mr. Wierwille was born Dec. 30, 1901, in St. Marys Township, Auglaize County, the son of H.A.W. and Louise Oberwitte Wierwille. On April 23, 1925, he married Viola L. Clute, who died July 26, 1988. A retired farmer, Mr. Wierwille retired from Copeland Corp. He was a member of First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville. Survivors include three sons, Thomas Wierwille of St. Mays, James Wierwille and Ned Wierwille, both of New Knoxville; one daughter, Norma Smith of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Marie) Rain and Mrs. Harry (Leona) Schroer, both of New Knoxville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville. Rev. Jon Coddington officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call anytime Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
