She was born March 25, 1908, in Uniopolis, the daughter of George S. and Zella (South) Dickson. On Aug. 29, 1925, she married George S. Walls, who died Oct. 7, 1981. Survivors include two sons, George J. (Marcia) Walls of Wapakoneta and LeRoy (Beverly) Walls of Orient; five daughters, Mara (Wilbur) Hardeman of Lima, Donna (Charles) McCartney of North Fort Myers. Fla., Doris McClintock of Waynesfield, Janet Steinke of Columbus and Kathryn (Larry) Whitaker of Grove City; a sister, Lucille Bowersock Duffy of Wapakoneta; 30 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Wehner; an infant son, Billie Walls; a sister, Mildred Neuman; and two grandsons, Randy Wehner and Jeff Salmons. A homemaker, Mr. Walls had attended St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed traveling. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta with the Rev. Kieran P. Darcy officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Special Needs Unit at Auglaize Acres.
